They didn't start building the Eiffel Tower at the Champ de Mars in Paris on 28th January 1887 because they found a load of steel girders lying around and wondered what to do with them!
They started because an engineer called Gustave Eiffel had already built it in his mind's eye.
The act of day dreaming is much maligned.
All the great achievements of mankind, including the most fulfilling of careers, started off as a thought, an idea, a dream.
Edgar Allen Poe said, "Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
Take his words to heart: it is your ideas, your day dreams and your mind's eye that will lead to your greatest achievements - ignore them at your peril!
