Most of us are familiar with the idea of spending six months or so planning and deciding what kind of holiday we’d like for two weeks in the summer, but at the same time it never occurs to most of us to spend even two weeks planning and defining what kind of aims, focus, goals and aspirations we have for our careers in the coming year.
Yes, I agree, it’s very shortsighted particularly since a stable career is what pays for the holidays.
