Making a difference.

Making a difference.

Many people have a personal goal in life to do something for which they will be remembered, to leave a legacy if you like, or put simply “to make a difference.”

Rational, logical and scientific thought all tell us that whether they do or not “make a difference” depends to a large extent on their attitude.

W Clement Stone put it this way: “There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.”

But here’s the rub, as we know, what we feed grows and what we starve dies. It’s the same with a positive attitude or a negative attitude, be it what you think, say or do, the one that grows will be the one you feed.

The one you grow, positive or negative, will then gradually begin to dominate and to shape your life, your career, your relationships and even your health. To “make a difference” you have to do two things, go the extra mile and focus on the positive! #proteuscareermanagement
