Once you’ve identified your top ones you then need to ask yourself whether they are satisfied by your current career position.
The nine drivers are:
1. Having a solid and predictable future
2. Being in control of people and resources
3. Doing things which you believe are of value
4. Aiming to be recognised and respected by others
5. Achieving a high level in a particular field of endeavour
6. Obtaining possessions, wealth and a high standard of living
7. Having the independence to make decisions for and by yourself
8. Being innovative and being identified with original input and creativity
9. Developing supportive and rewarding relationships with colleagues at work
