Sometimes when your career stalls, veers off track or comes to an abrupt stop it will be your fault, other times it will be 'divisional closure', 'takeover bids', 'irrational board decisions' or even 'market collapse'.
Whether it's your fault or some other cause, your career will suffer. However, knowing that it is inevitable and that you need to do something about it, is not the same as the actual 'doing'.
Always stay one step ahead of the game - prepare for the inevitable - plan for the future - maybe it's time to investigate the idea of future proofing your career.
