How do YOU define success?

How do YOU define success?

A few days ago I wrote a post entitled 'Ego’s undeserved bad reputation' and it provoked quite a bit of interest. In particular a comment from Michelle Stromgren DipM MCIM raised the issue of how to define 'success' and that set me thinking!

Clearly the concept of 'success' is very personal; it's subjective and depends on the individual's personality and values.

Our personality and values in turn determine what drives us.

There are nine distinct drivers for most people and after 30 years of helping people with their careers, Proteus firmly believes that unless a person's top three career drivers are satisfied they will never experience this elusive and sometimes euphoric 'feeling' of 'success'.

So, it all begs the question, "Do you know what your top three drivers are and what does success look like to you?"
