Eleanor Roosevelt said: "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people."
If the writing appears on the wall for your career and you don't like the implications, you should seek out your mentor.
Don't talk about the people "who" made the writing appear, only briefly mention "what" happened and put all your effort into a discussion of "why" the writing appeared.
Talk about the issues, the concepts, the challenges behind the writing on the wall and then focus on your ideas for the future, your plan B.
And if you haven't created a plan B, I suggest it's time to do so because once it's in place it will enable you to do what Washington Irving suggests. "Rise above your misfortunes!"
