It's attitude and not alphabet spaghetti after your name that counts in job interviews!
For the majority of roles, employers put more weight on EQ than on IQ.
This sentiment was emphasised by John Cridland, a former Director General of the CBI, in a speech given back in 2015.
He said that CBI members "must consider character-building elements of a candidate's CV, rather than just qualifications."
He added that most bosses "do not recruit on subject or qualification" but look for "enthusiasm, creativity and passion."
It's being able to project the right attitude that wins nearly every time.
As Zig Ziglar said many years ago: “Attitude, not Aptitude, determines Altitude!”
