Years ago my Indian friend Bacchu, my very first mentor, gave me a simple technique that I've never forgotten.
First, think of the most exciting experience you've ever had; your most memorable adventure! How did it make you feel?
Does the working environment in your current job or career allow you to duplicate that feeling? If the answer is "no" then it's time to find a new one.
Bacchu's advice was the trigger for my new career as a career coach and mentor and since then I have personally helped over 2000 people with their careers - thanks to Bacchu.
Sadly he's no longer with us, but his mentorship lives on in my life.
Most such relationships start for a reason, usually they last for just a season, but the best ones go on forever!
Have you found your mentor yet? What is the best advice you've ever received from your mentor?
