It doesn’t matter how clever we are, if we don't exercise our knowledge then our skills remain dormant; we won’t even realise what we are capable of achieving.
Only when we exercise and apply our knowledge does it lead to the development of the kind of technical, practical and transferable skills that are valued by employers.
These in turn determine the types of roles to which we are best suited.
But before we can develop our transferable skills we first have to know which ones we are capable of developing and which ones are perhaps lying dormant.
It seems it's time for some deep thought and self analysis.
