"GO COMPARE" - NO DON'T!

"GO COMPARE" - NO DON'T!

If you don’t believe in yourself how can you expect anyone else to believe in you?

Lack of self-belief leads automatically to a low level of self confidence - exactly what you don’t need if you are in job search mode.

So where does a lack of self-belief come from?

If we don’t counter it, it is, it seems, a part of being normal.

It generally stems from the habit most of us have of comparing ourselves to others: the danger comes when we compare our weaknesses to other people’s strengths.

“She’s so much better than I am at *****” - fill in your own blank or blanks!

Comparing is just one more of those “c” words to avoid for a happy life and a successful career - don’t compare, don’t criticise, don’t condemn, don’t complain.
